Tuesday: Complete postponed test on Review 6; Turn in Independent Poetry assignment (time was extended); Review for Reading Comprehension Test on Emily Dickinson poems, “I am Nobody” & “I Like to See It Lap the Miles,” “I am of the Earth,” & “Early Song.” It will include the following skills: metaphors, extended metaphors, personification, and imagery.
Wednesday: Reading Comprehension Test; Meet the Writer, Langston Hughes
Thursday: Tone: “Madam and the Rent Man” & Imagery: “Harlem Night Song”
Friday: Library; AR Test Due for All Regular Reading Classes; Imagery: “Winter Moon”
